Manual Therapy

Mobilization of blockages

Manual medicine, or manual therapy, deals with the treatment and prevention of reversible functional disorders in the musculoskeletal system. Diagnostic and therapeutic techniques are applied to the spine and the extremity joints to identify and correct these disorders.

Lymphatic Drainage

Decongestion and activation of the lymphatic system

The lymphatic system is, alongside the bloodstream, the most important transport system in the body. Manual lymphatic drainage is a massage technique that removes lymphatic congestion in the tissue. This treatment serves as a decongestion therapy and supports the supply to and from the cells, promotes wound healing, and improves regeneration, e.g., after injuries.

Neurological Therapy

Rehabilitation of nerve pathways

When disorders of the central or peripheral nervous system, diseases, or accident consequences limit movement, we can use special physiotherapy methods (such as the Bobath concept) to help you gain more independence in your daily life.

Gait training and treatment methods combined with electrostimulation therapy are also part of the supportive measures.

In autoimmune diseases such as multiple sclerosis, it is often not the control centers that are affected but only the connections. Through constant repetition, the brain builds new neural connections, allowing movement sequences to be re-learned. This mechanism works not only for MS and stroke but also for neurological conditions such as Parkinson's disease.

Shockwave Therapy

Deep mobilization of tissues

In modern pain therapy, the energy of shockwaves is transmitted to the pain zones in the human body. Healing processes in the body are accelerated, metabolism is stimulated, blood circulation is increased, and thus damaged tissue regenerates better.

Shockwave therapy specifically treats pathological changes in tendons, ligaments, capsules, muscles, and bones.

Trigger Point Therapy

Releasing tension

Muscle hardenings are locally pressure-sensitive and often cause referred (radiating) pain. In trigger point therapy, these muscle hardenings in the skeletal muscles are specifically treated. These are known as "myofascial trigger points."

Dry Needling

Releasing tension

Dry needling is a treatment of myofascial trigger points using acupuncture needles. It is an effective complement to manual therapy. Cramps are relieved, local blood circulation is improved, and the localized inflammatory response is reduced.

Craniosacral Therapy

Holistic body therapy

Craniosacral therapy (cranial-sacral therapy) is a holistic body therapy that sets the cerebrospinal fluid in motion through rhythmic pulsation. This rhythm spreads throughout the body and influences the development and functionality of the whole person. The treatment can be used for trauma, disorders of the autonomic and central nervous systems, pain conditions, and stress-related symptoms.

Tinnitus / Dizziness

Osteopathy can uncover connections and achieve very good treatment results.

Ear noises such as ringing, buzzing, or humming can suddenly occur and have many causes. In around 70% of affected individuals, the noise disappears on its own within a few weeks. If it persists, it is called tinnitus. However, this is not a disease but a symptom. A thorough examination by a specialist is advisable beforehand.

According to current studies, clinical examinations and treatments should primarily focus on the head, neck, jaw, and shoulder girdle areas, as well as the adjacent muscles, structures, and fascia, with special attention to the cervico-cranial junction, the masticatory muscles, and the sphenomandibular ligament (SML). Myofascial techniques, mobilizations, and thrusts (mobilization with impulse) are used to restore the affected structures to their physiological function.
