Dr. Paulina Buffle 

Dre Buffle is a highly skilled professional with extensive experience in evaluating children, adolescents, and adults facing challenges in social interactions and autism spectrum conditions. Her expertise also covers the assessment of very young children born prematurely, siblings of children diagnosed with autism, and the socio-cognitive development of children with specific genetic syndromes. She provides post-diagnostic support and coaching for parents, guiding them toward appropriate interventions and support models for their children, and offers advice to parents and educators on teaching students with special educational needs, both in schools and universities.

Holding a Ph.D. in Psychology and a Master’s in Clinical and Developmental Psychology from the University of Geneva, Paulina is trained in using various cognitive, social, and sensorimotor assessment tools, including specialized autism evaluation instruments such as ADOS, ADI-R, and BOSA. She has significant experience in training healthcare professionals to identify and diagnose autism, teaching at the university level, and supervising Master’s students. Her scientific contributions include an international literature review on "Best Practices in Autism Identification and Diagnosis" and a "Practical Guide for the Identification, Diagnosis, and Support of Young Children with Autism Spectrum Disorder." She is also the lead author of a guide on remote parental coaching in autism for low- and middle-income settings.

Paulina’s intercultural experience includes conducting evaluations, guiding families, and overseeing intervention projects for children and adolescents with autism in countries such as Switzerland, Spain, Ecuador, Mexico, the United States, France, and the United Kingdom. She is an active member of the International Society for Autism Research (INSAR), where she regularly presents her research, as well as the British Psychological Society and the American Society for Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics.
