With increasing life expectancy, the number of aortic diseases is also on the rise – particularly in the aortic arch and thoracoabdominal aorta. At the same time, technological advancements continuously open up new treatment options. Today, every patient can receive individually tailored therapy, taking into account their age and overall health condition.

Our over 20 years of experience with several thousand conventional and minimally invasive procedures – both emergency and elective – on the thoracic and abdominal aorta, along with our well-established network at the local, national, and international levels, enabled us to establish the first Aortic Center in Switzerland.

Thanks to close interdisciplinary collaboration with cardiac surgery, cardiology, angiology, and neurology, and supported by state-of-the-art infrastructure at the Klinik Hirslanden and Im Park Zurich sites, we offer a unique foundation for highly specialized, patient-centered care. This care is accessible both on an outpatient and inpatient basis – regardless of insurance class or time of day.
