Célia Jacot – Special Education Teacher and Zootherapist

Célia Jacot, with a Master’s degree in Special Education and a Bachelor’s in Speech Therapy, Psychology, and Education, is a professional dedicated to supporting children and adolescents with disabilities, as well as young people facing academic challenges. With several years of experience, including at the Pedagogical Center for the Visually Impaired (CPHV), she has developed expertise in assisting visually impaired students and those struggling in school.

Convinced of the benefits of horses for emotional, academic, and motor development, Célia founded Ô Petits Crins, a therapeutic space combining her passion for horses with her profession. She offers animal-assisted therapy sessions, a therapeutic approach aimed at improving physical, mental, and emotional well-being through interaction with animals.

Animal-assisted therapy fosters a sensory and holistic relationship between humans and animals, with personalized goals for each patient. No two sessions are the same, as every encounter between human and animal is unique and tailored to individual needs.
