Dr. Paolo Fontanella 

Dr. Paolo Fontanella is a specialist in urology, a medical field focused on diagnosing and treating conditions of the urinary system in men and women, as well as disorders of the male reproductive system. He manages a variety of conditions, including kidney stones, prostate disorders, urinary incontinence, and male fertility issues.

Dr. Fontanella completed his undergraduate medical training at the Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan, Italy. He pursued his postgraduate training in Switzerland and Austria, notably at Inselspital in Bern and Geneva University Hospitals (HUG). In 2021, he obtained his FMH title as a specialist in urology.

Since joining EHC in March 2023, Dr. Fontanella has introduced innovative treatments such as prostate thermo-vaporization (Rezum) and laser enucleation of the prostate. In October 2024, he was appointed Deputy Physician, further contributing to the excellence of urological care at EHC.
