Dr. Josuah Merkl 

Originally from Bavaria, Germany, Dr. Josuah Merkl specializes in general internal medicine and emergency care. His background combines strong academic training with diverse practical experience, particularly in cardiovascular diseases and emergency care.

Trained at the Faculty of Medicine in Cologne, he began his career in the internal medicine department of Klinikum Dahme-Spreewald Hospital in Berlin before joining the cardiology, pulmonology, and intensive care unit at Klinikum Schwabing Hospital in Munich.

Dr. Merkl’s areas of interest include:

• Management of cardiovascular diseases
• Ultrasound examinations
• Emergency medicine

He has extensive experience working in emergency departments and with the Munich EMS, enhancing his ability to manage critical medical situations. Additionally, his doctoral research focused on hypomania and mania in patients with idiopathic Parkinson’s syndrome.
