Foot reflexology is a gentle, holistic therapy that uses massages and acupressure techniques applied to the feet. Each foot contains over 7,000 nerve endings, with each reflex zone corresponding to an organ, gland, or body part. By stimulating these zones, reflexology can either soothe or energize the organs according to individual needs, contributing to metabolic harmony. It offers numerous benefits, both physical and mental.

What are the benefits of Foot Reflexology?

This therapy strengthens various body systems, such as the immune, nervous, respiratory, digestive, and hormonal systems. Reflexology is particularly effective for alleviating stress, whose harmful effects often manifest as insomnia, migraines, muscle tension, and digestive issues.

Specialization: Primitive Reflexes for Children

Ms. De Habsbourg specializes in the integration of primitive reflexes for children through the RMTi (Rhythmic Movement Training International) method. RMTi supports neuro-sensory-motor development by mimicking the rhythmic movements naturally made by babies. This method combines passive and active movements with isometric pressures, offering a natural and playful approach with benefits for coordination, posture, learning, memory, and emotional balance.

Contraindications

Foot reflexology is contraindicated in cases of foot injuries or infections, and is not recommended for those with phlebitis, thrombosis, fever, cancer, or during the first trimester of pregnancy.

Primitive Reflex Integration Sessions:

1st session: Anamnesis (your history, the situation that brings you here) + setting up an action plan.

Subsequent sessions will focus on a clearly defined goal (adapted according to age and individual difficulties).

Between sessions (ideally once a month), it is especially encouraged to regularly practice some movements at home (which we will establish together) to consolidate the progress made during the session.

The integration of a reflex can take several weeks (between 3 and 12 months) depending on the objectives and personal practice at home (ideally 5-10 minutes per day). Comfortable clothing is recommended to allow free movement.

Rates:

100 CHF: 50 minutes

Payable in cash or via Twint at the end of each session.

Foot reflexology sessions: 120 CHF: 60 minutes
