Dr. Aline Gallois-Schmit 

Dr. Gallois-Schmit, originally from the canton of Vaud, is a specialist in pulmonology and general internal medicine. She graduated from the University of Lausanne in 2014 and earned her FMH certifications in general internal medicine in 2021 and pulmonology in 2023, along with the European ERS diploma in 2021.

Her professional journey includes extensive experience at the University Hospitals of Lausanne and Geneva, as well as at Hôpital de la Tour, where she served as a chief resident in outpatient, inpatient, and endoscopic pulmonology. She also trained in sleep medicine at the Sleep Center of the Geneva University Hospitals (HUG), gaining expertise in respiratory sleep disorders, including sleep apnea.

Dr. Gallois-Schmit manages a wide range of respiratory conditions, such as obstructive lung diseases (asthma, COPD), hyperventilation syndromes, post-COVID respiratory disorders, and rare diseases like interstitial lung diseases and pulmonary hypertension. She also specializes in non-invasive ventilation and the treatment of sleep disorders.

Starting in January 2025, Dr. Gallois-Schmit will join the Centre Médical du Lac, providing personalized and attentive care to her patients.
