Dr Roland Hasler, PhD

Dr Roland Hasler holds a PhD in psychiatric neuroscience.

His expertise covers attention deficit disorder with or without hyperactivity (ADHD) in adults, as well as borderline personality disorder. More specifically, he focuses on dimensions such as emotional dysregulation, impulsivity and anger, as well as childhood abuse and its repercussions in adulthood.

A graduate of Harvard University, he is a GPM (Good Psychiatric Management) psychotherapist. GPM is a treatment for borderline personality disorder, but can also be applied to ADHD. It focuses on interpersonal emotional dysregulation, i.e. the management of emotions, but also on hypersensitivity.

His expertise also extends to stress management and burn-out.

He has published nearly a hundred scientific articles internationally on this subject, dealing with gene-environment interaction, electrophysiology as well as brain function.
