Juliette Béganton - Psychologist

As a psychologist specialising in perinatal care, I have worked in maternity and obstetrics gynaecology departments, as well as in early childhood settings (schools, crèches, maisons vertes, etc.).

The perinatal period covers the period from conception to the child's second year of life, and is particularly rich in challenges and emotions. My role as a psychologist is to offer parents a place to listen and support when they are experiencing periods of anxiety, postnatal depression, fears, misunderstandings or worries related to parenthood. I offer parental guidance sessions to support parents in their educational role.

My experience as a clinical psychologist in a crèche for children with neurodevelopmental disorders has also enabled me to develop specific skills to help families. My training in infant crying and my knowledge of Montessori teaching methods enable me to take a holistic approach to children's education, helping parents to understand their toddlers' needs and support them in their development.

I also see women and men who are experiencing difficulties related to the arrival of a child, who are trying to cope with their role as parents or who are facing infertility.
