Using the right tools for the right analysis

Depending on each patient's needs, the psychological assessment is divided into several sessions.

Generally speaking, it begins with an anamnesis interview to gather information about cognitive development, educational and/or professional background, and any antecedents contributing to current symptoms. Subsequent sessions are used to administer tests and/or questionnaires (intelligence, attention, etc.).

Finally, the last session is the feedback interview. A written report is submitted and the key findings are discussed. Any recommendations are discussed and bibliographical references are provided to help.Dr Sophie Geistlich
