Dr. med. Konstantinos Pallis 

Dr. Konstantinos Pallis, MD, completed his medical studies in Greece, where he gained a strong foundation in medical sciences. Driven by a passion for research, he then undertook a research internship in England, allowing him to deepen his knowledge in the scientific and medical fields.

Seeking to specialize in psychiatry and psychotherapy, he moved to Switzerland to pursue extensive training at the University Hospitals of Geneva (HUG). During this time, he gained significant experience in various areas of psychiatry, including forensic psychiatry, adult and geriatric inpatient psychiatry, as well as outpatient psychiatry.

Appointed as a Chief Resident, Dr. Pallis worked in both hospital and outpatient settings. He was notably responsible for specialized programs for managing psychiatric crises and treating borderline disorders at the CAPPI Eaux-Vives.

Currently an associate physician at the HUG, Dr. Pallis remains actively involved in clinical practice while continuing his research. He earned his PhD at the University of Geneva in psychopharmacology, exploring the optimization of the benefit-risk balance of psychotropic treatments. Following this, his academic work shifted toward transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS), a promising technique in treating various psychiatric disorders. He is currently collaborating with Professor Bègue’s laboratory at the Synapsy Center at the University of Geneva, where he contributes to cutting-edge research in neuropsychiatry.

In addition to his clinical and research activities, Dr. Pallis has completed further training in psychotherapy, particularly in Mentalization-Based Treatment (MBT) and Good Psychiatric Management (GPM), to enhance his therapeutic skills.

He has also specialized in the screening and treatment of ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder), enabling him to provide comprehensive and tailored care to his patients.
