Dr. med. Hyunju Kim Hämmig 

Dr. med. Hyunju Kim Haemmig

is a board-certified FMH specialist in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery. She completed her medical studies at the universities of Fribourg and Bern, with additional international experience, including at Yonsei University Hospital in Seoul, South Korea, where she worked in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery under Professors Park and Lee.

Following several years of general surgery training at Tiefenau Hospital in Bern (Dr. Birrer) and the Cantonal Hospital Aarau (Prof. Schlumpf), she obtained her specialist certification in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery in 2015 at the Cantonal Hospital Aarau under Prof. Meuli.

From 2015 to 2018, she worked as a senior physician in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at Inselspital Bern (Prof. Constantinescu).

Dr. Kim earned her European board certification (EBOPRAS) in 2012 and her Swiss FMH certification in 2015. She is an attending physician at Lindenhof Group (Engeried Hospital, Bern) and Hirslanden (Salem Hospital, Bern).

She is married and the mother of two children. Korean and German are her native languages, and she speaks fluent English and French.
