Osteopathy is a manual therapy with a holistic approach. It is applicable to both acute and chronic pain, as well as to functional disorders of unknown origin, and has a beneficial and preventive effect on health. Osteopathy follows a person-centered approach. This means that when treating their patients, osteopaths, as primary healthcare providers, consider the patient in their entirety, taking into account personal, professional, social, and psychological factors.

Osteopathic treatments are suitable for people of all ages – babies, children, and adults – and all physical conditions. Osteopaths stimulate the body’s self-healing process by restoring mobility and enabling patients to adopt behaviors that are favorable to their health. They communicate and interact in an open and transparent manner, explain the treatment steps, present alternatives to patients, and refer them to other healthcare professionals if necessary (interprofessional collaboration).
