After obtaining his federal medical diploma in 2012 from the University of Geneva, Dr Eric Lüdke began specialising in orthopaedic surgery and traumatology at Fribourg Cantonal Hospital, where he laid the foundations for his career. He completed his residency in Nyon before taking up the post of head of clinic at Neuchâtel Hospital, where he honed his surgical skills. Always seeking to improve his skills, he also trained in sports medicine, combining his two passions: treating musculoskeletal pathologies and supporting sportspeople.
Keen to develop his skills further, Dr. Lüdke moved to Grenoble to the prestigious Centre Ostéoarticulaire des Cèdres, where he specialised under the expertise of Dr. J.-C. Panisset in ligament and prosthetic knee surgery. This advanced training has enabled him to adopt cutting-edge surgical techniques, particularly in the treatment of meniscus injuries, ligament ruptures and degenerative knee problems. Dr. Lüdke treats all knee-related pathologies, from traumatic sports injuries to degenerative problems requiring conservative solutions such as physiotherapy, or surgical treatments such as ligament plasty or the implantation of prostheses.
In addition to his clinical expertise, Dr. Lüdke also contributes his skills to the world of sport, as doctor to the Swiss national U16 football team. He accompanies the team to training sessions and friendly and international matches, guaranteeing optimum medical care for the young athletes.
His academic and professional career is equally impressive, including a degree in ‘Doping: Sport, Organisations and Science’ from the University of Lausanne in 2019, a diploma in forensic medicine from Lausanne (2020) and the prestigious ‘FIFA Diploma in Football Medicine’ obtained in Nyon in 2019. Passionate about his field, Dr. Lüdke has positioned himself as a reference in the management of knee pathologies, both for athletes and for elderly people requiring specialist orthopaedic care.
