Leonardo da Vinci was a visionary, inventor, and artist. His famous sketch of a human figure inside a circle and a square remains a symbol of aesthetics, symmetry, and body awareness. Putting the human being as a whole at the center is also our vision. Therefore, we carry da Vinci’s intellectual legacy in our name.
The LEONARDO practice is a group practice of orthopedic specialists in Münchenstein. Founded in 2014 by five former chief physicians from regional cantonal hospitals, the practice has since grown to become the largest orthopedic group practice in the Northwestern Switzerland region. At LEONARDO, we orthopedic surgeons are convinced that by subspecializing in individual joints, we can offer our patients the best possible treatment. For this reason, we have been deepening our knowledge and skills in our respective specialties for years.
LEONARDO stands for outstanding treatment in orthopedics and traumatology – comprehensive, advanced, and focused. Together as a team of specialists in our respective fields, we can provide holistic care for every patient. It is our goal to further develop our work through research and quality control. Additionally, the LEONARDO practice works closely with the emergency department of the Hirslanden Clinic Birshof to ensure that our patients receive the best possible care around the clock in case of emergencies.
