Dr Alexandre Masson is an ophthalmologist practising general ophthalmology and specialising in medical retina .

He completed his clinical training at the Groupe Hospitalier du Havre (France), the Kirchberg Hospital (Luxembourg), the University Hospitals of Geneva and the Cantonal Hospital of Fribourg.

During his training, he was in charge of the interns (assistant doctors) in Ophthalmology at Geneva University Hospitals.

He holds a Swiss federal diploma as a specialist in ophthalmology.

He was a laureate of the European Board of Ophthalmology 2024, winning a prize (the Alan Ridgway Prize) for the 3 best written papers in the European examination.

He is also a graduate of the 3 International Council of Ophthalmology (ICO) examinations in optics and refraction, visual sciences and clinical ophthalmology.

He is one of the co-founders of the Frivision ophthalmology centre (www.frivision.ch).

Dr Masson welcomes patients to his Frivision Ophthalmology Centre at 2, Route Jo Siffert in Givisiez.

He sees new patients for general ophthalmology consultations or emergencies from the age of 6.
