Dr. med. Maria-Kristina Heidland 

Dr. Heidland grew up near Hildesheim in Germany and studied medicine at the Free University of Berlin and the Georg-August University of Göttingen. She received her medical license in 1989 and completed her PhD in 1991.

She specialized as a specialist in gynecology and obstetrics in 1994 after working as a resident physician at St. Bernward Hospital in Hildesheim and St. Vinzenz Hospital in Hannover.

Now a mother, she subsequently worked as a locum in various gynecological practices in the Hannover area before moving with her family to Umbria, Italy, in 1997. After obtaining her medical license in Italy, she worked as an independent gynecologist at the outpatient center of a large corporate health insurance company until 2012.

In 2013, Dr. Heidland returned to Germany and worked both as a specialist in gynecology and obstetrics and as a senior physician in various medical organizations, providing a wide range of gynecological care and consultation including breast ultrasound, Gynefix® insertion, and complementary medicine.

Since January 2019, she has been practicing at Arzthaus Zurich Stadelhofen.
