Dr. Sonja Laube, MD

The work of a gynecologist continues to fascinate me every day. I encounter women of all ages and experience all aspects of womanhood. It is very important to me to address each woman's concerns, worries, and problems individually, to provide clear advice, and to offer comprehensive care over the long term.

I grew up and went to school in Uetikon am See. I completed my medical studies at the universities of Zurich and Stellenbosch (Cape Town, South Africa). After my residency at the hospitals in Davos, Winterthur, Männedorf, and Wetzikon, I spent two years in the USA, in Providence (Rhode Island), where I pursued further training in pregnancy ultrasound. Since 2005, I have held the FMH board certification in gynecology and obstetrics, with a specialization in operative gynecology, as well as certification for pregnancy ultrasounds.

From 2005 to 2013, I worked as a senior physician at Männedorf Hospital, where I led a specialized consultation.

I live with my family in Männedorf and spend my free time in my garden, with our animals, or in the mountains.
