About Me

After studying medicine in Heidelberg, Düsseldorf, and Freiburg i.Br. (Germany), I began my specialist training in gynecology in 1987. Early on, I dedicated myself to breast cancer and its many complexities.

At a German university women’s clinic, I engaged deeply in scientific research on this and other issues in gynecologic cancer research for many years.

Other focuses of my work include the treatment of bladder weakness (urinary incontinence/pelvic organ prolapse) as well as the therapy of vulvar diseases.

From 2000 to 2011, I held various senior leadership positions, primarily as a chief physician, where I practiced innovative and evidence-based medicine.

From 2011 to 2013, I worked as a senior physician at the Liestal Cantonal Hospital (BL) and, from 2012, began establishing my practice in Bad Zurzach.

Since February 2017, I have also been accredited as an attending physician at the Bethanien Clinic in Zurich and the Belair Clinic in Schaffhausen.
