Laser Medicine

Below is an overview of the laser systems currently in use:

Lutronic Picoplus: picosecond laser for tattoo removal, treatment of pigment spots, and skin rejuvenation. Picosecond technology enables tattoo removal in about half the usual sessions.

Lutronic Clarity: combined Alexandrite/NdYAG laser—one of the most effective systems for permanent hair removal and treatment of vascular changes (hemangiomas, spider veins, port-wine stains).

Fraxel :restore: non-ablative fractional laser for skin rejuvenation, treatment of fine lines, pigment spots (melasma), acne scars, and surgical scars.

Palomar Icon: combined IPL and NdYAG laser system for treating vascular changes such as couperose, spider veins, and port-wine stains.

MedArt CO2: for removing fibromas, seborrheic keratoses, small hemangiomas, scars, and viral warts.

Lutronic Infini: radiofrequency microneedling for treating wrinkles on the neck and face, scars, and stretch marks.

Costs for laser treatments are only covered by health insurance in exceptional cases. The best treatment option for you will be decided during a consultation to ensure a fair price offer.

Aesthetic Medicine

As a patient at our dermatology practice in Zug, you benefit from close collaboration with Dr. K. Kassem-Trautmann, FMH in plastic and reconstructive surgery.

Platelet-rich Plasma (PRP): platelets are extracted from your own blood and immediately injected back into the skin. Growth factors in the platelets tighten connective tissue and promote hair growth in cases of hair loss.

Botulinum toxin: weakens specific facial muscles to reduce expression lines (frown lines, crow's feet).

Hyaluronic acid: injected under the skin to reduce wrinkles.

Chemical peels: exfoliate the skin’s surface, refreshing it and reducing pigment spots and fine lines.

We provide advice on optimal skincare to maintain treatment success. We use products from Skinceuticals, Aesthetico, and La Roche-Posay.
