Treatment and prevention

You are in good hands at the ebovis eye practice, as we are the right place to go for most questions and uncertainties. We cover the following scenarios:

• Your vision is impaired: You can no longer see clearly, your eyes are tired, you have difficulty focussing or your field of vision is restricted. What's wrong with your eyes? At the ebovis eye practice, we carry out a comprehensive assessment and determine the cause of the problem.
• If you are 45 plus or have risk factors for glaucoma, a regular examination for early detection is recommended. Otherwise, there is a risk of permanent damage to the nerve cells and retina. Glaucoma is one of the two most common causes of blindness if left untreated.
• You are a diabetic and therefore need repeated examinations in order to recognise vascular growths as part of diabetic retinopathy in good time. In this case, we offer you a regular examination.
• Everything is fine with your eyes, but you would like to have a check-up because you do not know whether you have any risk factors. We are happy to fulfil this request and check your eyes from front to back in the ebovis eye practice and check all functions. If everything is in order, we recommend that you only have your next check-up after the age of 50.
