Dr. David Tabibian 

Dr. David Tabibian is a physician specializing in ophthalmology and ophthalmic surgery. He provides diagnosis and treatment for various eye conditions, including corneal diseases, cataracts, and refractive surgery (correction of myopia, presbyopia, and other vision disorders).

Education and Training

Born in Geneva, Dr. Tabibian studied medicine at the University of Geneva before beginning his ophthalmology training at the Geneva University Hospitals. He then pursued further specialization in the United Kingdom, gaining extensive clinical and surgical experience. During his time there, he completed a Cornea and Cataract Fellowship under Prof. Figueiredo in Newcastle.

Returning to Switzerland, he became a Chief Resident at the Jules-Gonin Eye Hospital (Fondation Asile des Aveugles, Lausanne) in the Cornea and Refractive Surgery Unit, where he continued his academic career. In parallel, he has conducted extensive research on corneal diseases and keratoconus, publishing 26 peer-reviewed scientific articles and contributing two book chapters on these subjects.
