The osteopath, on the other hand, takes a holistic approach and attempts to rebalance the entire body through manual manipulations, based on the principle that any disturbance in one area can affect the entire organism. They therefore treat a variety of conditions, which may include digestive disorders, without requiring a medical prescription.
