Is your child or teenager struggling with their sensitivity? Have you tried many things to help them, but nothing has worked? Do you feel powerless, confused? Do you need answers and personalized support?
Hypersensitivity is a popular term, now commonly used but still poorly understood. Hypersensitivity is a consequence of unmastered sensitivity and can lead to difficult or even very challenging consequences in the lives of the young people affected.
For example:
- Depression,
- Various addictions,
- Difficulties in social relationships,
- School dropout,
- Isolation,
- etc.
For these young people, learning to understand their functioning and obtaining tools to help them daily is essential. It’s not just about discovering tools or tips but a way of living and being that can support them throughout their lives.
I am currently going through a training in coaching with the Paradox School. I am also trained in positive discipline, and have completed several training courses aimed at supporting children and adolescents with meditation tools and practices. I was also a sensitive young person who suffered from her differences and had to find answers and tools to address the challenges I faced.
I specialize in working with young people with atypical paths or profiles who have a strong sensitivity.
I have worked as an educator in democratic schools internationally, with children who are refugees, and in community centers in Geneva. I am accustomed to working with young people both in groups and individually.
Why should you choose coaching ? Coaching is a powerful introspection tool. At their age, teenagers rarely look for advice but rather seek support to experience things by themselves and find their own solutions. Coaching provides a safe space for your teen to explore what is important for them, regain confidence and help them find their path.
I offer sessions in an office in Plainpalais, outdoors, or at home, depending on the needs of the young person and their family.
